Marvel vs Capcom 2: No game-breaking glitches. "Dead-Body-Infinites" are only allowed to the corner. No cabinet shaking/abusing. If the sticks or buttons stop working during the match stop the match IMMEDIATELY. Tell the tournament director where you are going if you need to leave the tournament area, if you fail to show up for a match because you were in the bathroom and no one knew it you automatically lose that match. Winning players must keep same team, assists, and order during a set of 2/3, 3/5, or 4/7, unless their opponent agrees to a switch. Players have the option (but is not required) of blind team choosing. (This means that both players must tell the tournament director before the match what characters are going to be picked and in what order.) Capcom vs SNK 2: Roll Canceling is allowed. Players have the option (but is not required) of blind team choosing. (This means that both players must tell the tournament director before the match what characters are going to be picked and in what order.) General:
All tournaments are for Shoryuken's APEX
points. All matches are best 2/3 semi-finals are best 3/5 and finals are
best 4/7. All tournaments are double elimination. All characters are
playable. All tournaments are held in arcades on arcade machines not on
any console system. All brackets are seeded by location and if it can be
determined also by skill. (What does this mean? Think of it exactly
like college basketball tournaments are run... and that's exactly how we run
these.) Exceptions: Any exceptions to rules for special tournaments will be noted in the tournament description above. |
